Padbury Vets is run by Dr Allan Roberts, who is a Welsh country vet with over 40 years’ experience. Supported by his excellent team of Vet nurses and groomers, Dr Allan Roberts offers a consistency of care that will have you returning for the lifetime of your pet.
Dr Roberts trained in Edinburgh at the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies (RDSVS) from 1968-1974 and is a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Science in London. Allan worked in rural Scotland before he migrated to Perth, in WA, in 1993. He also completed a Diploma in Tropical Veterinary Medicine at RDSVS in 1980 and has worked in third world countries such as Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Yemen.
Dr Roberts launched Padbury Vets in May 2006, having worked there for 6 years under the previous owner. His years of experience and devotion to his job mean that every client of Padbury Vet is given the best, individual and expert care and attention it deserves.
Allan Roberts developed his passion for teaching and sharing his extensive knowledge of Veterinary Science by completing his Diploma of Education at ECU in 1994, and has provided numerous work experience placements for High School and Veterinary nurse students since he started Padbury Vets in 2006.
